Serving the Church for 50 years!
From 1958 to 1972 he was instrumental in planting 5 new Churches in South Africa. In 1972 he went as a Pilot with Mission Aviation Fellowship of South Africa, during which time he was also involved in Children’s Ministry. He held Kid’s Crusades, and conducted Kids meetings while with MAF in the African countries of Zaire (Congo) and Transkei.
Jim was asked to teach part time at the Church of God Bible School in Umtata, Transkei.
The Cole-Rouses came to America in 1979 and in 1980 they joined the Staff a large congregation in Los Angeles as full time Children’s Pastors. They put together a team of 25 workers, and established Children’s Churches for Pre-School through 6th Grade. They also trained these workers and ministered at the Christian School Chapels.
After 5 years of successful ministry they resigned this post to begin working in full time Evangelism. They established their own servant ministry, “Family Spectacular Ministries” to serve many different churches.
They have conducted Teacher Training Workshops for many Churches throughout the years.
